LA Rain and Baby Showers

Last week was a wet week in Southern California due to some rain showers. Like they say, when it rains it pours. I am claiming that it's good luck for it to rain on the day of your baby shower.

I was one loved mama for having two baby showers. My sweet co-workers threw one special event on my last day of work before I went on maternity leave. Many thanks to everyone who made me feel special and loved.

Fun Party

Many thanks to the event planners - Lesley, Pakorn, Ana, Laura, Aine and Erica!

You could see the effort they put on this event. Food spread was yummy and games and entertainment were fun and even the male co-workers enjoyed themselves. Best game was the Price is Right, not because I almost won. It was definitely an amazing party!

And then my baby shower at home hosted by my three awesome friends - Pakorn, Cristina and Jessica! Thanks to them, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful day!

Despite the heavy downpour, friends and family came and shared in the celebration of this exciting time for Ian and I. 

Ian's parents drove from Palm Springs and my sister made the seven-hour drive from San Francisco.

From all the thoughtful and generous gifts to the shower of love and support, I can't thank my friends and family enough. I would also like to thank our friends who weren't able to attend my shower but still sent gifts. You are all so thoughtful and sweet.
